These beautiful and colorful flowers are called Schizanthus.
Pretty Viola. Bold dark colors.
My crocus. I planted these last fall. So pretty.
These are called Bellis. This one is bi-colored.
Same type different color.
Petunia, this picture does not do them justice. They are so incredibly beautiful.
This has to be my favorite flower this time around....next to the cactus thats next. This is on my Polka-dot plant. I didn't know they even flowered.
My Christmas Cactus...or at least thats what the label said. I am thinking more of an Easter Cactus
So there is my Garden Bloggers Bloom Day post. Hop on over to May Dreams Gardens and find out what others are showing of this bloom day.

I have exactly the same variety of viola - it's always so funny to see them growing somewhere else halfway around the world!
ReplyDeleteAnd that is a Christmas/Thanksgiving Cactus - very pretty variety, too. They frequently bloom in spring, too.
I was surprised too when I first saw the teeny tiny flowers on my Polka Dot plants. Your Easter Cactus bloom is beautiful and so are the flowers on the Bellis. Lovely flowers for your GBBD post.
ReplyDeleteViolas are amongst my favorite flowers - they always seem to make people smile. Happy GBBD!
ReplyDeleteYour blooms are lovely! The tri-colored Bellis is stunning. What variety is that petunia and is it a variety that does well indoors?
ReplyDeleteSage Butterfly they are part of the confetti garden. The purple is called Sweetunia Purple Vein. And the other one is Potunia cappucino. From what I have read they are great for containers and can be inside. It is where I have them
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! My wife has planted a huge variety of flower seeds and bulbs this year. I can't wait to see what comes up. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely blooms. I love your white crocus. White is always so dainty looking.
