My African Violets are blooming up a storm.
This is my favorite as it looks like a mini rose.
Any color other than the traditional dark purple is high on my need to have list.
Then soon after the solid colors this type ranks right up there. I just love the way the colors blend.
Or how they blend here but also have a different petal texture.....all wavy.
Although it's only one flower in different colors I can still say that I have flowers in the middle of winter. My garden is outside and inside.
So if you want to see some more pictures of blooming plants then head over to May Dreams Gardens and see what Carol has blooming or one of the many other bloggers that participate in GBBD.

I love African Violets and have many myself. You have some very pretty selections.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed seeing your african violets... years ago I had about 500 when the power went out for three days in a very cold winter and I lost them all... never went back to them until the other day when I picked up a couple just for fun.... Larry
ReplyDeleteLove all of your African violets! People used to give me theirs because they wouldn't bloom for them, and even though I didn't do anything special, they did for me! I ended up composting a bunch a few years ago when I lost room for many houseplamts. I'm kind of sentimental about one now! :)
