June already? Where did the year go? Well it's the 15th again. A very special time of the month when Garden Bloggers around the world gather to post about what is blooming in their gardens. Carol over at May Dreams Gardens hosts this wonderful meme every month so be sure to stop over and check out the other gardens.
I have lots to show off today.
4 O'Clocks that came from my mother yard.
Lilium that I planted early spring
One of the green Hosta's is in bloom
And so is a variegated one.
A purchased Phlox is beginning to show it's colors now.
New Zinnia buds are starting to pop up all over.
Clematis still hanging in there. It's a new plant this year and only a few buds still on it.
One of the Roses that I planted this year is finally opening....
Although not part of my garden still in my yard dandelions are basking in the sun.
My Strawberry plants are loving the rain we have had and are opening up new flowers.
It's finally time to start watching the tomato plants. They are all getting ready to bloom.
Although all Male flowers right now the cucumbers are showing off their stuff this morning.
Pretty and delicate looking is the snapdragon flower. Hiding in the greenhouse.
Marigolds. What garden is complete with out them? This one and a few others are blooming away in the greenhouse.
Another vegetable that has been showing off it's colors other than green is the pea's.
At the back of the yard the honeysuckle is attracting lots of bee's and smelling wonderful.
Another flower not part of my garden but part of my yard is that of the clover. A beautiful flower especially if you look up close and see all the little parts.
Hyacinth Bean plant is showing off it's purple pea like flowers
The viola's are still going strong.
More marigolds. These were started in the greenhouse then transplanted.
Lots going on here in the gardens. Plants getting ready to bloom some are finished already.
I hope you enjoyed the show and come back for more later. While you wait for my next post stop over at May Dreams Gardens and check out the other blooming gardens.
Gardening is a blessing. Teaching others is a responsibility. But to enjoy gardening and teach others is priceless.
Welcome - come enjoy my Garden with me

Such lovely blooms - a great show, I especially like the Lily. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms! I usually put out 4 o'clocks for the Japanese beetles, but I did not get a chance to do it this year. Don't you know...they seeded themselves and came back on their own!
ReplyDeleteHappy GBBD, Melissa. You have a wonderful showing this June.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing so many pretty blooms. I absolutely loved your Lily and that pretty little pink Phlox.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I had hyacinth bean vine last year and it went ballistic...hope you have good luck with yours!
