The day after Bloom day is also known around the gardening community as Foliage Follow-up day....or so I just found out. I missed this post yesterday but it's never to late to post. Pam over at Digging hosts this meme every month on the 16th. I don't have the type of foliage she does but I have some pretty ones anyways. So here we go a trip around Irishgardens to view the foliage:
Hosta. I wish I knew the variety but alas I do not. So incredibly beautiful anyways.
The new addition to the gardens this year is this Houttuynia 'Chameleon'.
Another Hosta showing off it's colors.
I love Hosta's can you tell. Sadly it is really the only foliage outside that I have other than trees.
I just love this one though. So different from the others and so pretty.
Well for this month that is I'm afraid all I have to show off by way of foliage. Maybe next month I will have gotten something.
Stop on over to Digging and see what foliage others are posting about.
Gardening is a blessing. Teaching others is a responsibility. But to enjoy gardening and teach others is priceless.
Welcome - come enjoy my Garden with me
My Garden although it may be small is my garden. I love working in the garden and showing or telling others about it. While you are here take a look around. There is a lot to see. Take a look at the other blogs I love to read. Leave a comment if you like. But most of all. Enjoy your time here, and come back soon.

Are you sure that 2nd one is a hosta? Looks like a chameleon plant which is noxious. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteLike your blog, and just started following you. Hope you'll come by and follow my blog also. I also love the Hostas and have quite a lot. Love the differences in so many of them.

I'm quite envious of your hostas. They struggle in central Texas' heat and drought, but they are quite lovely in your garden. Thanks for joining in for Foliage Follow-Up!
ReplyDeleteYour hosta are _beautiful_. I'm afraid that mine look a little chewed on.
